hey Guys
again, is been long since I last updated this blog.
just came back from buffet with Denise. is long weekend this week, so we decided to eat eat and eat. needless to say, we were pretty full and denise was eating in pain cos of her braces. hope she gets through this period of time and get use to the braces in time to come. things have been .. errmzz OK for both of us, house hunting, making decisions, work. I must say Im not the most sensitive guy around, starting to take things for granted and not taking control of my life, taking control as in not passing everyday with no aim / improvements. is always too late after I did it. remember last time when parents use to say, think before you talk, we always pass it off but i guess it is very important to think before we talk. been there, tried that, in a bad way.
Thanks for the CK One perfume surprise. somethings never change. hopefully nothing changes with both of us.
been quite tired over the past 2 weeks and was happy to get through this week fast because is long weekend. Friday is a public Holiday cos of APEC, everyone including Uncle Bush, and Uncle Lee is here for the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation.
traffic has been wonderful, because most of the commuters have left their car at home under the government instructions, or rather I should say, encouragement. That caused a major delay in public transport. trains packed, buses bumper to bumper. All because of the motorcade which the leaders were travelling in.
if you guys din know, Mr Bush brings 2 limousines (gas proof, anti tank missile proof) to whereever he goes. how did he do that? besides Air Force One, the plane he travels in, there are 3-4 other planes that flies with him carrying staffs and equipments. that includes his own ambulance full of his own blood type in case he falls down or knocked into a tree. He has also a backup plane in case AFO fails to take off. not too bad being a President isnt it, when it only takes 8 minutes to travel from the airport to the city when it normally takes around 20 - 30 minutes. fortunately for me, the route that the leaders are taking are near my apartment, so I'm lucky enough to witness the motorcade. Three choppers with lights shining on the streets for inspection were up above our heads before 16 vehicles (yes, all US vehicles) whizz past us.
work has been pretty good, learning new stuffs and able to make decisions and getting things done. a improvement i guess. now i know why having a car is so hard in singapore, every year, have to pay this and that. wowz.. everything costs money.
maybe going to brisbane in 2 weeks time. for a week.
until then
cheers
everything happens for a reason, DID they?*
