was on the train last friday,
thought about most of the stuffs at home..hmm.. here are some of the stuffs to blog about before I forget..

1. whampoa > loy kee chicken rice and the soya bean/chin chow stall beside it. fruits stall where they will wrap the the papaya in a plastic bag and rainbow shape pineapple known as "sarawak" pineapple.
2. how mum always complain about the economic bee hoon auntie's attitude. (if u don want to wait, then don buy attitude)
3. how i went to the market for a week while my mum was recuperating from her gall stone surgery. (that trained me for groceries shopping now.. everything happens for a reason)
4. how we use to fight to have the front seat of the car, whether is Daihatsu Charade, Mazda 323, toyota soluna or the current corolla.
5. how mum always give up the front seat to us.
6. dad always say he has good street direction
7. and also he is a katong boy
8. how i like to use the master room toilet rather than the kitchen's one
9. my room is always full of soccer players posters from SHOOT! and MATCH that makes the room so dark
10. i use to love singapore soccer in the M-League, abbas saad, alistair edwards, win aung and sadro radun
11. my fav band was Michael Learns To Rock, got 2 free tickets to the concert by entering THE NEW PAPER contest. Mark took a long time to claim that for me. and brother spend the afternoon listening to their songs on CD player so that he could accompany me to the concert at night. The other prize i won on TNP contest was a set of liverpool away jersey worth 130 bucks (at that time) at royal sporting house.
12. and playing chinese chess in the store room with my brother drinking chinese tea.. haha
13. perfect 10 with glen ong on the ego trip
14. growing up, PCK, under one roof. anyone remember masters of the sea? or VR MAN haha
15. premier 12, prime 12 were the former channel 12 that dominated sports with brian richmond as the commentator.
16. sctv and scti were the channels we "stole" from indonesia for more soccer
17. watercress, lotus, black chicken, sweetcorn soup
18. during seafood soup night, mum would do each and everyone a bowl individually
19. always complaining that we should eat before 8 so that she can wash the dishes together.
20. dad likes chilli, when it gets too much for him, he will stand in front of his air-con and breathe in and out.
21. going AARC on saturday, badminton on the 1st floor, dad playing jackpot on the 2nd and swimming on 4th floor with the receptionist's name as Mei Ling. =)
22. mIRC and ICQ my number is 33445847.. surprise that i still remember
23. our heavy text books, emaths and amaths, english textbooks = forte textbooks
24. chinese books always have up and down (shang and xia) for each semester and everytime u have buy the "ci yu shou che"
25. my rugby days, how i miss it...whenever i watch rugby here in sydney.

i will leave my list as it is now, theres more to come..
looking back at these stuffs, and where am I now, im glad how my life grew, and it is still growing. and Im happy with what im getting.....

just a note, I got a 12% pay increase after only 3 months in the company! wooHoo..

Support

ever wonder why are we working so hard? is it because of the money? which can make one's life better? or is it just to keep oneself busy from day to day?

at the end of the day, we still need the support of our family and friends to make our day, our lifes better. w/o the support, i think is gonna be hard. the society is harsh, is a blessing everyday when you reached home, someone you trust is there for you.

however, we often take this for granted, start blowing at the ones you love because they said something or did something. when things had cooled down. do you regret what have you just done? worse, you might have hurt them with the things you said/done.

im surprised by some of the stuffs that I remembered from young. some might say i bear grudges with what him/her did to me. but somehow or rather, i do remember these events.
e.g 15 years ago, @ moulmein primary school, being the "cheeky" boy I am, went to spill 2 bbq chicken wings from my brother's friend's lunch box. brother was there, friend scolded me, brother did not say anything, i don blame him for what happened, for me, i wont do anything as well if i was him. but now as i gradually know what life is about, i guess, the support that someone you trust give you is really important. this support will give you the confidence you need down the road.

my brother, sister, parents, denise have since given me all their support, regardless of work, studies, to even small things like cooking, sometimes their comment may not sound the way you want it to be, but im sure they want the best for me, asking me to do things that i wouldnt like or i don feel like. yes! i may not like it, but no one is 100% right in decisions making. is the response that you give, think about a minute, breathe in, before giving an hurtful answer or raise your voice, this minute can really change some things, it may open the room for discussion, and more things can be achieved.

sadly, we as human are not able to do this all the time, me especially, being the "selfish" guy that I am, I hope what ive done/say would not hurt anyone i love.. the ones i trust

thats my phone after weeks of waiting. E65, pretty happy about the style/colour of the phone, impress by the number of applications, and is been long since I last used a Nokia.

Denise got herself a sony ericsson K610i. simple but a phone that will serve its purpose well.

anyway, been "playing" with the new phone for the weekend, wonder to survey some cars, but the weather has been quite bad. windy and rainy.. but on the good side, is been happening on the weekends, din really affect the working days.

had a good weekend at home again, cooking, enjoying each other's company, sports on telly. thanks mate! for being with me, and of course with the fishes. we bought a bigger tank for our fishes: pymble(male) and posie (female). we are ready to spawn them, but.. are they ready? it seems so, cos all the signs that we read on the web are showing, less the bubble nest that pymble is suppose to build to show that he is ready. but hopes are high cos we just change the water yesterday. and it will be high as long as denise is watching them. shes much much more enthusiastic than me. making all these little "toys" for the fishes, making them comfortable, and impressing me.. =)

before i end this blog, just wanna tell u guys about something i tried on Friday. VEGEMITE, a everyday food for the aussies here. but no way! thinking of it now makes me feel disgusted, gave it another try, but never gonna give it a chance again unless, im forced into some punishment.

anyway, back to work tmr, AITPM (austrlia institute of transport planning and management) AGM on tuesday. haiz. hope i had a good week

thats my cousin, lucky to have him as part of my family.

ME: hey k, free next saturday?
(long wait, guess his brain must be thinking SHIT, what is he up to?)
K: (better play safe) oh im helping my sis prepare exams (what the..) so wont be free
ME: oH, cos im moving house next week, can help?
K: sorryz..
ME: so when are u free?
(till now and counting 20hrs and 58 mins.. no reply)
and this is just a test, i wont be moving till july... and I had helped him moved house the last time round.. his way of asking for favours:
"eh, i have the 4th year notes for you, but haven packed properly yet, when i moved house, will pack it then, can u collect them when im moving and help out?
bloody, me and chin went to help him move washing machine, sofa bed and boxes.. fine, i got his notes and got my 1st class honours.. so thats far square.. maybe i do need to work hard (physically) to get what i want.
im just relieved he did not gave me a reason like: oh my goldfish is giving birth!

anyway, everything happens for a reason, i hope it gave him and me something to think about.. i doubt he get it.. hes a donkey anyway. or rather, they are donkeys....
gonna haunt him with my questions again.. next time he comes online..

back to work tmr and I had a good Long weekend, thanks to the Queen for having a birthday! =)

DVD

is the long weekend in NSW .. Queens Birthday on Monday..a public holiday..

the trains authority are supposed to make use of these non-working days to fixed up the train lines.. it was planned to cancel all train services around sydney and replaced them with buses..

BUT.. rain, rain and more rain came down since thursday.. has been windy and raining for 3 days in a row, Newcastle was declared a natural disaster zone, fortunately, Bobs all right after almost 20hours of power loss. NSW has been complaining about droughts, dam having low levels and irrigation systems failing. guess we all prayed too hard, it all came down once and for all, damaging road, flooding houses and taking lives. is a bit sad seeing floating cars and witnessing houses with the water level till the bed level. imagine when the water subsides, all the mud, and dirt and appliances that are not working. watching the road break into 2 on the news, just felt that once again, we should treasure what we are having..

anyway, we braved the rain and went to have dinner out cos Denise was working overtime till 8pm.. teaching her replacement with the programs because she is going to a bigger and better position next week.. congrats and all the best!
since we were in the mood for some arcade games, denise tried a game. she was supposed to hit the button when the number of the screen hit 1000 to get the jackpot prizes which are DVDs.. out of fun, we decided to try even though we were not interested in the DVDs titles that were available. so there we go.. $1 coin. start. 100, 200, 300......" tell me when to stop okie??" i replied" no way, i cant do that".. 700,800..900, we will get a minor prize if we hit between 995 - 1005. HIT! blinks* 1000 !! JACKPOT!!!!
i was amazed at the accuracy! before anything, we had to make a choice of out the DVDs, Casino Royale which we watched it and was crap was definately out!.. dejavu and night at the musuem.. we decided night of the musuem cos it was a show we could keep...hehe..we went home smiling cos we got a dollar dvd...is not the prize.. is the thrill..

here I am, watching Ocean 11 at home.. and feeling the cold, cos the wind and the rain just wouldnt stop. nice weather to sleep in. but we slept too much..

rented the car for a week, supposedly for project site visits, but we took the opportunity to look at some units in the outer suburbs.

of course not to miss the chance to shop at Macquarie and Chatswood. Good that we visited these places and visited new parts of the world...

not to forget we had a new member in Lachlan.. her name .. POSIE!!
thats the girlfriend for our male fighter fish, Pymble... we hope to be able to mate them and bring more small little fighter fish to the world....
this is not going to be easy, cos they are fighters by nature.. but we gonna take time, and we hope it happens...!!!

anyway, gonna be another week at work, getting quite "used" it now... sometimes, being in a small team in a big company can have pros and cons... experiencing the cons now.. i get the pros every now and then .. but anything can happened.. and now I know why isit not good to have a loud and dominant female as your supervisor.. hmmmmm........

next monday is a public holiday..hope this week would be good for everyone!!
