Graduation Convocation
finally, getting the time for another post.... my last post was like 3 weeks ago....
many events had been happening.. of course.. my graduation convocation which my parents and sister came to Sydney to attend, our trip to newcastle and also the good friday to easter monday holidays..
30th of march... my graduation ceremony.. finally, the day has arrived with me wearing the grad attire with the square hat that people around you have been talking about since you were like 15 or 16 years old. not to forget the precious piece of paper that I recieved on that day. as the guest speaker said, that is the ticket for my future and I am lucky enough to "pre-pay" my ticket and get started as a traffic engineer before I got the ticket.
is great to have my family here with me to witness this event. I guess i had made them proud with the receipt of the Best in Transport Discipline prize and of course the Honours Class 1 that I worked hard for. Thanks Dad. Thanks Mum. Thanks for sticking by me and allowing to continue my studies here in UNSW when things were not going so well. I hope I had repaid that faith well enough. thanks for the trust!.. I hope you guys are proud of my achievement.
of course, not forgetting my sister.. who has contributed in my thesis success.. thanks for dropping by despite your busy schedule with Catholic Junior College. =).. hope you had a good time here in Sydney..and of course, I'm waiting for your square hat ceremony!!
Denise, my partner, my best friend, the one that will give me great support when things get really down..thanks for the effort for making all these possible. thanks for making me settled fast enough in a foreign country, handle all my "guai pi" and also helping in my assignments and thesis. those time when things are down for me, or rather, for both of us... im glad we stick by each other, till today..we are still doing that.. so many things has happened.. so many changes, we see others and we look at ourselves, we have grown.. thanks for being there whenever I achieve something. and also thanks for the Graduated Patrick.. one and only in the world.. he's not stupid anymore!! =)
just a note.. to all those who have not believe me since I was young.. even until now, to those who thought coming to UNSW was a wrong choice, to those who thinks that living overseas is easy and is just about money, my challenge is, achieve something in life before you open your gap..
thanks everyone, it has been a rocky 2 years, but it turn out fine.. very good i must say.. .. a chapter of my life ends here.. a good experience and a good ending....

Hi Graduate,
Thanks for the kind comments. It was very too kind of you. I hope I did my part in standing by you. Getting through this with you has been an amazing experience for me too. We have proved to be strong enough when things are wrong. And it's glad to see how your perception has changed over time. We chose to be who we are, one of it was thanking you for choosing me. Congratz to you, my best friend! You've earned it!
With much love,
Denise
