Queen Mary II

20th of Feb: Went to take a good look at Queen Mary II after the big coverage on TV, newspaper and internet. True enough, it was majestic, 23 storeys high and is just BIG! unless you see it, you will never imagine how technology is able to build this giant machine.. it was a truly an experience

7.00pm sharp... the Mary's smaller sister, Queen Elizabeth II arriving at Sydney Harbour, horns sounded from both ships to signify this historical moment. 60 years since the 2 ships were docked at the same location.

As seen in the photos. tens of thousands of Sydneysiders were there.. was a bit squeezy when QE II arrives.. but luckily, the weather was not too bad and we able to take a few shots.

and to cap it off, a wonderful display of fireworks for a full 15 minutes! Denise and I just sat on the lawn, enjoying the breathtaking view and each other's company. simple and sweet..... im glad we were there to witness the event.. it was good!! very good indeed! =)

Happy Lunar Piggy New Year

What a weekend, had my reunion dinner with Denise on Saturday, cooked ourselves and we were amazed how well we can cooked. and the best thing is, they all taste fantastic.


Stayed at home for the 1st day of the new year until at night.. i got to see my favourite event during CNY.. the lion dance... something extra this year, the casino hired the dragon dance troupe as well.. and to top it off.. i saw fire crackers for the 1st time.. wow.. truly amazed at the power of the fire crackers..car alarms went off after the final "explosion".

Congrats to denise again! 1 on 47.. wow!! cluck cluck cluck!!! hehe... wonderful !

over this period, just miss having dinner with my family.. other than that.. i hear the same old stories, same old aunty's sad/bad stories, same old places to go....


good for those working back home.. super long weekend.. rest well guys..

happy a fire piggy year this year as my uncle say.. this year is going to be a good year...

Valentine's Day

good morning.. happy valentine's day everyone...

is a occasion created by the business people.. cashing in on gifts and food..

thinking of what i did for previous valentine's day when i was still "young"... funny...

but i guess is a experience for everyone..

had a good dinner @ Tony Roma's .. recommended for ribs! the only restaurant in Australia.. kind of ironic when there are 2 restaurants in Singapore..

had a good/not so good day yesterday.. it went bad.. well.. very good.. to very bad.. to good... but congrats to you on the win.. your very 1st time on it... and im proud of you...

my apologies for not making it a perfect one...

Have a wonderful Valentine's Day with your friends or loved ones guys..jus a dvd or a nice dinner or whip up a meal.. =) take good care... and stay safe...

btw.. i got a interview invitation with ARRB.. Australia Road Research Board.. but I turned it down.. will i regret it? as i silly or what.. only time will tell.. even though is nearer to the city, but is a 3 year graduate program.. yupz..

hello everybody!

9th of Feb.. went for interview and Denise recieved a signature boxed of roses from RosesOnly... glad to know that shes thrilled abt it.. hope her 23rd birthday will be ONE of her unforgettable birthdays

i never knew the box of roses is so huge, doesnt seem so on the above photo.. but u can see more on denise's blog... but the most important thing is that she is very very happy...

12th of Feb.. today's her birthday... HAPPY 23rd Birthday Denise... and guess what... what a day.. i got a 2nd line while on the phone with denise.. is from Anissa! Cardno Eppell Olsen has offered me a job as a Graduate Traffic Engineer!! WooHOO!! just love this day...

hopefully the rain will stop and we will have a good meal at Tony Roma's.. RIBS!! hehe...

and we will cooked up a big meal on Saturday! for our reunion dinner!!

everything is good here in Sydney.. thank you everyone above for all the blessings and also for making our stay here safe and trouble-free.. thank you thank you!!

moved to my new place already.. never knew internet will be set up so fast..
for once.. they are doing things at a higher speed... lucky i stick back with optus...

all i can say.. moving house is another experience..1st time in everything... driving a van.. fixing my coffee table, dining table, sofa bed, tv stand, bed, and shelf...and moving 20 over boxes with denise.. super tiring.. one thing for sure.. moving makes u hungry.. very hungry...

there was a bad experience.. late night moving, card de activated, negro security.. these 3 terms will remind me of sth... yUpz..

and the ppl here and not very nice.. quick stuck uP.. din even say thanks for waiting for them for the lift...chinese, cantonese.. get what i mean?? sucks....

anyway..job hunting now.. the moment has come.. the one i dread most.. but the one i need most...
